TRUMP ? Austria calls for #Muslims to be jailed in Gitmo-style prisons ! @Bare

Proposing a Greek island or the Italian island of Lampedusa, Heinz-Christian Strache said these jails should house Muslims returning to Europe after fighting for the Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria and those convicted of supporting terrorism.

The Local (h/t Maria J)  “It is now high time for our government and the EU to take action against Islamist terror, apply existing laws and protect borders,” Strache told a news conference in Vienna, calling for a stop to “uncontrolled mass immigration” in a five-point action plan.

“European governments have just stood by during the mass immigration from Islamic countries and these people’s refusal to integrate over decades, wondering why there are so-called ‘no-go areas’ in many cities where the rule of law has de facto been replaced by sharia,” he said, referring to Islamic law.

Austria’s Freedom Party (FPO) is causing controversy with its advertising campaign. The slogan causing all the fuss appears in bold letters across huge billboards next to the smiling face of Freedom Party leader Heinz Christian Strache. “Mehr Mut für Wiener Blut” – more courage for Viennese Blood. The next line says – “Too many foreigners does no one any good”

European populist parties like Strache’s opposition FPÖ have gained in support in recent months due to the migrant crisis, and seized on the November 13 Paris attacks as evidence for their cause.

The Party’s leader Heinz-Christian Strache is quoted: “We face serious problems in our immigration policy. This largely concerns migration from non-European Muslim countries such as Turkey. More than 50% of Turkish immigrants don’t want to integrate into Austrian society.

“We believe in our youth, not (Muslim) immigration

They don’t want to learn the language and organize parallel and opposing structures. The activities of radical Islamists have become visible in our society. They hinder its peaceful and democratic development. In this sense, we are certainly a political force that comes out against any such radicalization.“

Shotguns have ‘virtually sold out’ in Austria as citizens rush to buy arms amid fears of a massive influx of Muslims 

UK Daily Mail  Gun rights in Austria? Is that a thing? It may be now that there are immigrants flooding the region in the tens of thousands. The Austrians may not be embracing that whole multiculturalism wave that’s sweeping some EU governments because the citizens are apparently lining up at gun shops and emptying the businesses of shotguns. 

Weapon sales are soaring in Austria as citizens of the small Alpine nation become paranoid over the numbers of refugees crowding into their country. In a country of 8.5 million people, there are now an estimated 900,000 firearms in homes. 

And gun dealers report that it is women driving the sales rush. This year alone, police say 70,000 guns have been sold.  ‘Virtually all shotguns are currently sold out, because you need no permit for them’, said Thomas Ortner, spokesman for an arms dealer in Upper Austria.
