U.S. blasts Israeli activities in Judea and Samaria

At UN Security Council meeting on "settlements", American envoy says Israeli construction creates a "one state reality".

The United States on Friday criticized Israeli policies in Judea and Samaria during a UN Security Council discussion on the issue.
The meeting, titled "Illegal Israeli Settlements: Obstacles to Peace and the Two-State Solution," was informal and did not involve a vote. It was held at the initiative of Egypt, Venezuela, Malaysia, Senegal and Angola.
The U.S. representative to the session, Deputy U.S. Ambassador to the UN David Pressman, said Washington is "deeply concerned and strongly opposes settlements which are corrosive to peace," according to Haaretz.
Pressman added that Israeli activities in Judea and Samaria, primarily construction of new communities, “create a one state reality on the ground."
The U.S. calls on both sides to adopt policies and take immediate steps toward "implementing the two-state solution," he said, according to Haaretz.
At the same time, Pressman also condemned Palestinian Arab terror attacks on Israelis, and said that figures who incite violence are sending a message to the international community that they aren't interested in peace.
The remarks mark the latest incident in which American officials have condemned Israeli construction projects in Judea and Samaria.
The State Department this past summer used unusually harsh language in condemning plans to build 770 new housing units in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo and describing them as “corrosive” to peace.
Similarly, Washington recently condemned the Israeli approval of the construction of 98 homes on government-owned land in Shilo. The housing units are for residents of the community of Amona who are slated be evicted from their homes.
State Department spokesman Mark Toner called the new construction "another step towards cementing a one state reality of perpetual occupation", adding that it would “make the possibility of a viable Palestinian state more remote."
At Friday’s UN meeting, noted Haaretz, the Russian representative said that the conflict is approaching "the moment of truth." He noted that there is a consensus about the illegality of Israeli construction, house demolitions and violence.
"Settlement construction must stop," he was quoted as having said, asserting that it creates "Palestinian enclaves" that are disconnected from the outside world.
"Israel needs security, but without the two-state solution, the threat to Israel will grow," added the Russian envoy.
Responding to the session, a senior Israeli official said that claims that Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria are an obstacle to peace are baseless.

"These claims deny thousands of years of deep connection between the people of Israel and its land – just like it was done yesterday with UNESCO's absurd decision," the official said, according to Haaretz.
"Referring to Israeli communities as an obstacle to peace recycles the scandalous Palestinian demand that Palestine be free of Jews. In any other case, such a demand would be rejected out of hand. No one would think to say that a condition for peace is that Israel be free of Arabs," he added.
"The real obstacle to peace is the continued Palestinian refusal to recognize a Jewish state within any borders," continued the official. "This refusal is expressed through the demand to cleanse Judea and Samaria of Jews and the relentless Palestinian incitement to terrorism."

An abandoned car filled with 7 gas cylinders that was found parked near Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris on Sunday may have been left there as part of an Islamic terror attack “dry run,” officials said. Documents with ‘Arabic writing’ were found inside the car.

FOX News  The car’s owner, who is on a French intelligence service watch list of people suspected of religious radicalization, was in custody, Sky News reported. At least one other person had also been detained in the investigation. “We think he may have been trying to carry out a test-run,” a police official told AFP.

French police have arrested a second couple in connection with a car found carrying seven gas cylinders near Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris, a judicial official said on Thursday. A first couple, aged 34 and 29, were arrested on a motorway on Tuesday in southern France also in connection with the incident on Saturday and remain in custody.

There were seven gas cylinders inside the car, with one empty cylinder in the front passenger seat and six others in the car’s trunk, authorities said. No detonating device was present.

French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said it still was not clear why the car was abandoned or what the intentions were of those under arrest. 

France is on alert after a deadly string of Islamic State attacks and threats against landmarks. News of the gas canisters’ near Notre Dame broke hours before the release of a government-commissioned report on how the attacks have impacted France’s lucrative tourism industry.

“Hausa youths attack Lagos chemist for blasphemy,” Punch, September 6, 2016:

There was confusion on Sunday in the Ketu area of Lagos State after some Hausa youths seized a chemist, identified as Emmanuel Emeka.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Emeka would have been lynched but for the intervention of policemen from the Ketu Police Division who quickly brought the situation under control.

A source told our correspondent that the victim had written a blasphemous word on a magazine, which triggered the anger of the youths.

The source said the police had already taken custody of the victim to save his life.

He added that the Hausa youths mobilised to destroy the victim’s shop, but were prevented by the policemen, who were deployed in the area.

He said, “It happened around 9pm on Sunday. The issue could have led to a bloody fight between Christians and Muslims in Ketu, but for the police.

“What happened was that the man wrote something on a magazine which the Hausa youths said was blasphemous. When other Hausa men saw it, they became angry and seized him.

“Some of his friends tried to rescue him and that almost started a fight. The police were alerted and they responded quickly and doused the rising tension.”

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident, adding that the situation was under control.

She also confirmed that Emeka was in police custody.

She said, “The Lagos State Police Command averted what could have been a religious crisis between the Igbo community and the Hausa Muslim community due to the timely intervention of its operatives….

A refugee who raped a ten-year-old boy has claimed he did not know sexually assaulting the child was wrong as it was ‘culturally acceptable’ in his homeland.

Mufiz Rahaman told Sydney’s Downing Centre Court raping children was not seen as morally wrong in his native Myanmar when he pleaded guilty to the aggravated sexual assault of a 10-year-old refugee on Wednesday, the Daily Telegraph reported.

The 20-year-old and his young victim are both stateless Rohingya Muslims – a group of people considered illegal immigrants from Bangladesh by the Buddhist-majority in Myanmar – who came to Australia to flee religious persecution.

The court heard Rahaman preyed on the young boy while he was living with a group of refugees, including his father, at a vacant RSL club in Lakemba, a suburb in Sydney’s south west, on January 8, 2015.

According to documents tendered to the court, he crept into the child’s bedroom – which he shared with his father – as he slept and took off the boy’s underpants.

He then raped the boy, who arrived in Australia in 2013, while his father was in another room preparing lunch.

When the boy’s father returned he noticed the door had been shut and overheard Rahaman tell the boy: ‘I’ll give you money for this.’

‘My father will hit me,’ the boy responded.

The boy’s dad stormed into the room and found Rahaman lying on top of his son who was face down on the bed with his pants around his knees.

He asked: ‘What are you doing to this little boy? You’re an adult.’

The paedophile denied doing anything to his son but the young boy told his father he had been raped.

Rahaman, who came to Australia in 2012, was arrested two days later after another family member reported the incident to police.

He submitted to a DNA test which was matched with semen found on the victim.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Rahaman told the court he had been a victim of sexual abuse as a child before he moved to Australia.

Judge Andrew Scotting said Rahaman failed to understand his actions would ‘physically’ and ‘psychologically damage’ his young victim.

He also said Rahaman, who insisted he thought sexual assault was not seen as morally wrong in his homeland, had not accepted responsibility for his actions and demonstrated a ‘lack of morality’, according to the Daily Telegraph.

‘There is a need for specific deterrence … The offence appears to have been (viewed) as being culturally acceptable conduct in the offender’s childhood,’ Judge Scotting said….

CBS A Transit Police officer was patrolling the Back Bay station when he was informed a man had just entered the women’s room. As the officer walked toward the bathroom, Taha Hamid of Dorchester was seen leaving the facility.

The officer was told by a woman that while inside the bathroom, Hamid pulled down his pants and urinated in the sink, saying “This is a man’s bathroom now.” Hamid was arrested and charged with open and gross lewdness.

FINLAND: After 15 Muslim invaders brutally beat up a young Finnish man with metal bars, the Finns fight back

After a young Finnish man was beaten up outside a local supermarket by Muslim migrants from the Forssa refugee center, the migrants went into a frenzy and threatened lookers-on and passers-by with metal bars and baseball bats. As a result, a violent brawl broke out when a group of Finnish men confronted the Muslim attackers in front of the migrant center.

Mvlehti (h/t Cleverson Y)  After the attack on the young man, a group of locals went to the migrant center where they were met by the attackers and a brawl broke out. Altogether there were about one hundred people, mostly Muslim illegal aliens.

According to unconfirmed sources, one of the migrants was shot in the leg by a Finnish Romani, who have allegedly pledged their allegiance to Finns against Muslims. Eye witnesses report that the migrants had stashed baseball bats, sticks and metal bars in a park between two blocks of flats.

After the police left the scene, the Muslim thugs went and got their hidden weapons and started smashing cars at the car park. According to eye witnesses the place turned into another “Mogadishu.” (Ah hah! the Muslims must have been Somalis)

The Muslim migrants have promised to avenge the shooting so more may follow very soon. Unconfirmed reports say the Finns are organizing a demonstration close to the migrant center with the theme “Security of Forssa’s people first.” The locals are angry over a migrant center being placed in their town. Multiple fights have broken out between Finns and the migrants in this center throughout the summer.  

It goes without saying that the mainstream media in Finland is doing its best to make Finns look like the aggressors, but luckily the alternative media is in place to tell the truth.

Church handles Islamic crisis worse than sex abuse crisis

“The Pope and others in the Church are not telling the truth about Islam. Some think they are doing so deliberately as part of a strategy to prevent further radicalization. Some (myself included) think they are doing so out of sheer naïveté. In either case, if they continue to defend Islam as a peaceful religion, it is bound to result in a crisis of trust and a crisis of faith.”

I think they are doing this out of a false and misguided understanding of Christian charity that is so welcoming to “the stranger” that it won’t stop welcoming him even at the point of civilizational suicide. This foolishness combined with the globalist agenda of the political and media elites has the Church and the West in the fix they’re in. As millions of Muslims stream into Europe, and mainstream politicians and the Church demonize opposition to this suicidal madness as “hatred” and “bigotry,” millions of Christians stream out of the Church that has abandoned them, and the free world, at the hour of greatest need.

“#NotMyPope.” In the wake of Pope Francis’ equivocal response to the murder of a French priest by two Islamic jihadists, that’s the top trending hashtag in France and in Belgium.

Which raises a question: Is the Pope doing more harm than good by continuing to deny—in the face of a mountain of evidence—that Islam has anything to do with violence?

As I’ve noted several times in the past, the Church’s handling of the Islamic crisis may prove to be far more scandalous than its handling of the sex abuse crisis. The main scandal surrounding the revelation of priestly sex abuse was that it was covered up for a very long time by priests, pastors, and even bishops. By their silence, many Church officials were, in effect, denying that there was a serious problem. The effect on Catholic morale was profound. In those places which were most seriously affected by the scandals, such as Massachusetts and Ireland, church attendance dropped off dramatically. Disaffected Catholics didn’t necessarily lose their faith in God but they did lose faith in the Catholic Church.

The Church’s handling of the numerous cases of “Islamic abuse” has the potential for causing a greater scandal. The similarities are striking. Once again we have Church leaders who deny that there is any serious problem. This can be seen, for example, in Pope Francis’ repeated assurances that Islamic violence is the work of “a small group of fundamentalists” who, according to him, don’t have anything to do with Islam. And once again, we have a cover-up—this time of the aggressive nature of Islam. After every terrorist incident, the Pope or some Vatican spokesman leaps to the defense of Islam lest anyone get the idea that there is a link between Islam and violence.

This is sometimes done by denying that terrorist groups or individual jihadists are motivated by religious beliefs (despite voluminous evidence that they are). Sometimes it is done by drawing a moral equivalence between Islam and other religions. Recently, when asked why he did not speak of Islamic violence, the Pope replied that “If I speak of Islamic violence, I must speak of Catholic violence.” Of course, it’s a false comparison. When Catholics commit violence they do not do so in the name of their religion, but in violation of it. Most people realize that there is an enormous difference between the Catholic “who has murdered his girlfriend,” and the jihadist who slits a priest’s throat while shouting “Allahu Akbar.”

And that’s the problem. More and more people can see that what the Pope and others in the hierarchy are saying about Islam and Islamic violence doesn’t comport with reality. If things continue in this direction, it will generate an enormous crisis of confidence in the Church. It is potentially a crisis of much great proportion than the sex abuse scandals. This time the victims of the cover-up will be counted not in the thousands, but in the tens of millions. And this time we will be talking not about damaged lives, but about dead bodies.

Millions of Christians in the Middle East and Africa are already dead as a result of jihad violence, and millions more have been forced to flee their homes (see here and here). It’s estimated that some two million were killed by Muslims in Sudan alone between 1983 and 1995. Many of the victims were completely unprepared because they had been assured by Church leaders that Islam is a peaceful religion just like Christianity or Judaism. In Europe, millions more are threatened by an influx of Muslim migrants—a migration that many Church authorities have encouraged. As Robert Spencer put it in a recent column, “The Pope is betraying the Christians of the Middle East and the world, and all the victims of jihad violence, by repeating palpable falsehoods about the motivating ideology of attacks upon them.” Jean-Clément Jeanbart, the Melkite Greek Catholic Archbishop of Aleppo, said something similar last year when he criticized his brother bishops in France for ignoring the persecution of Middle Eastern Christians. He castigated them for being uninformed and in thrall to political correctness.

Six people have been put to death by Isis – by being immersed in boiling vats of tar, it’s been reported.

The gruesome act was carried out in public at an Isis command centre in al-Shora in Iraq, ‘with the aim of inciting fear among the citizens’.

The six, from Mosul, were accused by Isis of being spies for the Iraqi government.

A source told Iraqi News: ‘Isis executed six persons in Mosul for collaborating with Nineveh Operations Command. The death sentence was issued [by an] Isis Sharia Court.

Without any regard for the international ban on the chemical weapon, IS has used the lethal gas repeatedly against Kurdish forces who are battling to drive out the jihadis.

The terror group – which has killed hundreds of victims in repeated attacks in France and against other targets in the West – is fighting a last-ditch battle to hold on to the dwindling area it controls in Iraq and Syria.

Nearly 100 Kurdish soldiers have been injured in mustard gas attacks, which are now taking place as often as twice a week, according to doctors speaking publicly for the first time.

The Mail on Sunday interviewed victims of the weapons, which are banned by the United Nations.

They described poisonous yellow clouds of mustard gas burning their skin and damaging their lungs.
