 - A 70-year-old man has been charged with selling crack cocaine at the senior housing complex where he lives in south suburban Chicago Heights.
Cook County sheriff’s police received a tip from the Cook County Housing Authority last month about drug sales at the Golden Towers Senior Community in the 1700 block of East End Avenue in Chicago Heights, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.
During their investigations, officers identified the suspected seller as Eddie Cain. He sold crack cocaine to undercover officers in the complex’s parking lot on two separate occasions, the sheriff’s office said.

Cain was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance on public housing property, the sheriff’s office said. He was released on a personal recognizance bond later that day after a hearing at the Markham Courthouse.
