History repeats itself once more
Homer's Illiad was written in about 800 B.C.; in this great piece of early literature, the protagonists all place responsibility for their fate with the Gods. These larger-than-life figures all assume they are powerless to resist their basest instincts: anger/rage, lust, envy, and lust for power. They believe that this absolves them from any responsibility for their fate, but what they don’t see is that it also condemns them to an uaviodable end. Their fate is determined by the Gods.
Does this sound familiar?
We have all been bored to tears by "Demonstrators" in Missouri who view life the same way but it is no longer the Gods (which many completely refute) but Whitey, the Man, Bush, Christians, Jews, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera...
We've seen it time and time again and many leaders of this Blame Game have found ways to turn it into a lucrative income. Chicago's Very Own Jesse (High) Jack***u and his mob have perfected this game to a legalized version of the Mafia Protection Racket: when a business or institution is singled out by this Crime Family, they are offered a deal: if you wish to avoid troble (in the form of demonstrations and adverse publicity) pay up The payouts can take many forms; normally in the form of "Jobs" for select individuals. These fortunate recipients of Payola turn back a portion of their income to the Jack*** Outfit and everyone is happy.
Al Sharpton operatea in a similiar fashion; if a business or entitiy wishes to avoid adverse publicity, demonstrations and the dreaded Charge of "Racism" payoffs are arranged.
The New Black Panther Party has learned the tricks of the trader and is offering to keep the peace in exchange for a nice payoff; it's the Old Protection Racket plain and simple.
Universities have been victim of this Protection Racket for years and all suffer. Business suffers the most and the Bigger the more they suffer.
All of it is made possible by the same philosophy the Greeks utilized: Free Will, Choice and Hard Work make no difference.
The Ancients blamed the Gods, US minorities blame anyone they can. Until they wake up and understand this we all lose.
